#1 Global Excellence Scholarship (January 2024)

To be eligible for an international scholarship, you must:
- be an international student (citizens of Australia or New Zealand and permanent residents of Australia are not eligible)
- not be holding another scholarship or reduced fee arrangement from Swinburne
- satisfy any course or scholarship-specific entry requirements.
- If you receive a performance-based scholarship, you will be required to maintain a 75 per cent study load. High achievers on our top-level scholarships will be required to maintain a certain level of academic success. For more details, please refer to your offer letter.
#4 SINGAPORE INTERNATIONAL GRADUATE AWARD (SINGA)
The Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) is a collaboration between the Agency for Science, Technology & Research (A*STAR), the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), the National University of Singapore (NUS), the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and the Singapore Management University (SMU).
#5 Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship
The Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship is awarded to recognise academic excellence for international students. This highly competitive scholarship is based on academic merit and awarded to future students. This scholarship provides up to AUD $10,000 applied towards your tuition fee. Scholarships are limited so we encourage you to accept your offer and scholarship early to avoid disappointment.
#6 Scholarships in Asia and the Pacific
The ADB-Japan Scholarship Program (JSP) offers about 135 graduate scholarships a year for studies in economics, business and management, science and technology, and other development-related fields.
What is Offered
The ADB-JSP provides:
- full tuition fees
- monthly subsistence allowance (including housing)
- books and instructional materials
- medical insurance
- travel expenses
#7 Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung Scholarships for International Students
The Scholarship Department of the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung awards financial grants to highly-qualified undergraduate and doctoral students from Germany and abroad who evidence high levels of social and political engagement. In granting scholarships, the Stiftung seeks to counteract the social, political and gender discrimination prevalent in our society, and therefore gives preference to applications from women, students of non-academic and migrant backgrounds, the socially needy, and people with disabilities who demonstrate comparable achievements and commitment. Applications from undergraduate and doctoral students from scientific and technical disciplines are actively encouraged, as well as from graduates of technical colleges
#8 Leiden University Excellence Scholarship (LExS)
For excellent students joining a full-time Leiden University Master’s degree programme – with the exception of LLM (non-advanced) and MSc programmes at Leiden Law School. Please note that the application for a Leiden Excellence Scholarship for study programmes starting on September 1st in 2023 will open at the beginning of November 2022.
#9 UNIVERSITY OF TWENTE SCHOLARSHIP (UTS)
The University Twente Scholarship (UTS) is a scholarship for excellent students from non-EU/EEA countries, applying for a graduate programme (MSc) at the University of Twente.

#10 Fulbright Foreign Student Program, Worldwide
The Fulbright Foreign Student Program enables graduate students, young professionals and artists from abroad to study and conduct research in the United States. The Fulbright Foreign Student Program operates in more than 160 countries worldwide. Approximately 4,000 foreign students receive Fulbright scholarships each year.
